Samantha Luciano, a second-year student of the MSc Biobanks & Complex Data Management of the Côte d’Azur University in France, currently doing an Erasmus internship at the Natural History Museum’s Molecular Collections Facility (MCF). She gives us a glimpse of her daily work curating an impressive legacy collection, resulting from the life work of passionate wildlife pathologist Vic Simpson. Samantha highlights how her long-term project will allow this collection to be available for zoological research and species conservation, and ultimately carry on Vic’s legacy.
